The Opportunity

We are currently seeking CPA articling students and/or Accounting technicians to join our team.  As a CPA student/accounting technician, you will work directly with clients and staff to deliver accounting and tax services. The ideal candidate will be a university graduate with an interest in pursuing a CPA designation (CPA Student) and will be a university graduate with 1 year or more experience at public practices (Accounting technician).  Our accounting practice offers the opportunity to work in a range of accounting and tax areas including bookkeeping, compliance, personal and corporate tax returns, reviews and audits.

Qualifications

• Accounting related degrees or appropriate CPA conversion programs (CPA Student)
• Accounting related degrees/diploma and minimum 1 year experience at public practice (Accounting technician)

Responsibilities

• Develop technical skills in various areas and prepare bookkeeping, personal and corporate

   

• Tax returns, compilations, reviews and audits

   

• Strong communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must be fluent in English

   

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

   

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

   

• Proficiency in Caseware, TaxCycle, Microsoft Office is an asset
