Wee Step Child Care Society is a small business in Edmonton, AB T6X 0P7. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to Wee Step Child Care Society is a newly established non-profit organization aiming to provide exceptional childcare to Edmonton. Our mission is to provide an inclusive, nurturing space where childcare are able to develop healthily in all aspects of their life: socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively..

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained

Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual skills (if applicable)
- Ability to lead a classroom and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in computer operation and basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills

Qualifications:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of child development stages and milestones
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
